The main goal of this workshop is to bring trauma to the attention of the teachers. Many children of CAL are traumatized, they need a different way of parenting and education. This workshop contains a brief explanation of what trauma is and what it does to children. 

The most effective way to overcome trauma and to become stronger is to build resilience. As a teacher, you can help the children to strengthen their resilience. In the workshop you will find some tips to do this. On the next pages of this website, you will find some games and tips you can use for the children.

The purpose of this workshop is that it is given to the teachers by the interns from UCLL. It is a very short workshop, it is an introduction about the theme 'trauma', so you can count on half an hour.
